At Solid Security | Technology , we’re looking for an experienced, motivated, and customer-first technician to join our growing team in the Tampa Bay area. What You’ll Do Install, program, and service fire alarms, burglar alarms, access control, surveillance systems, and structured cabling. Troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain security and life safety systems for commercial customers. Interpret blueprints, plans, and specs for proper installation and integration. Run conduit, pull cable, and ensure clean, code-compliant work every time. Serve as a technical problem-solver-on-site and remotely-for our clients. Maintain detailed documentation and jobsite notes in our system. Collaborate closely with the Project and Client Experience Team. Represent our brand with professionalism, urgency, and a solutions-focused attitude. What You Bring 3+ years in low-voltage/security/fire installation or service (commercial experience preferred) Working knowledge of Honeywell Vista , FireLite , or comparable systems Familiarity with NFPA inspection/testing requirements ESA CAT Level I or NICET certification (or actively pursuing) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Clean driving record and a professional image High school diploma or GED required Physical Requirements Able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical work (climbing ladders, squatting, reaching, etc.) Comfortable working in varying environments (rooftops, attics, mechanical rooms, etc.) Why Solid Security | Technology?
