Fire Sprinkler Layout Designer Petcosky Companies Fort Myers, FL 33901 • Hybrid work Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing fire sprinkler systems using AutoSprink or similar software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. This role requires NICET Level I-III Certifications in Water-Based Layout and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities Design and layout fire sprinkler systems in accordance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Utilize AutoSprink or similar software to create accurate and efficient sprinkler system designs. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of fire sprinkler systems into building plans. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and material lists for fire sprinkler systems. Review and interpret construction documents, specifications, and other related documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. Conduct site surveys and inspections as needed to gather necessary information for design purposes. Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams during project execution. Ensure timely completion of design projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes. Experience NICET Level I-III Certifications in Water-Based Layout required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler design. Proficiency in AutoSprink or similar sprinkler design software required. Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and standards. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
