The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including security systems, computer networking, and system design. This role involves working in various environments to install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage systems while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Responsibilities Install and maintain low voltage systems including security systems, intercoms, and data networks. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and configuration of systems. Conduct field service calls to troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing low voltage installations. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions for their security and networking requirements. provide service calls and provide clients with all information and training on security systems, camera applications and surround sound theater room. Perform regular maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance. Document all work performed, including system designs, configurations, and any changes made during service calls. Experience Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role is preferred. Familiarity with security systems (IDS) and computer hardware is a plus. Certification in low voltage installation or related fields is highly desirable. Strong understanding of computer networking principles and practices. Ability to read schematics and technical documentation effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
