Job Description Corbin Systems, LLC is seeking a Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Minimum 1 year experience in the field, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various environments. This includes schools, government buildings, residential & commercial job sites. •The ability to pass a level 2 background check and having a valid driver’s license are required.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Maintenance
Install, maintain, and repair security systems, alarm devices, and low-voltage electrical systems.
Mount and fasten control panels, sensors, cameras, and other related equipment.
Run and terminate cables, wiring, and conduits to connect systems.
Test electrical circuits and troubleshoot system malfunctions.
Worksite Preparation & Safety
Assess job sites and prepare equipment & materials accordingly.
Follow all workplace safety protocols to ensure a secure job environment.
Maintain proper hygiene and present a professional appearance while working in customer-facing environments.
Physical & Technical Requirements
Ability to climb ladders and enter tight spaces (e.g., attics, crawl spaces).
Must be able to carry and lift ladders in and out of locations and secure ladders to vehicle roofs .
Lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to sit, stand, drive for long periods of time
Regulatory & Compliance Requirements
Must pass a Level II background check through
FDLE/LCSO
to work in schools and government offices .
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required to operate a company vehicle or must use own vehicle to travel to job sites.
Qualifications:
1 year experience in low-voltage electrical work, alarm systems, or related fields preferred.
IT and networking experience a plus
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
