The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems through thorough inspections, installations, and maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of fire safety regulations, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members. Duties Conduct comprehensive inspections of fire protection systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations. Perform installations and maintenance of fire alarm systems, ensuring they operate effectively. Read and interpret blueprints to assess project requirements and specifications. Utilize hand tools and electrical equipment, including voltmeters, for testing and troubleshooting systems. Provide field service support, addressing any issues that arise during inspections or installations. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of fire safety measures during building projects. Detect potential hazards and recommend solutions to enhance fire safety in various environments. Qualifications Proven experience in construction inspection or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with fire alarm sales processes is a plus. Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Experience as a service technician in the fire protection industry is advantageous. Proficient in using hand tools and electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters. Knowledge of electrical systems related to fire safety is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
