out of 5 stars 11200 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33199 Responsible for the University Surveillance (CCTV) and Burglar Alarm Systems installation, repair, and maintenance for MMC, BBC, and EC campuses. Installs, maintains, and repairs all surveillance cameras at each campus. Installs, maintains, and repairs all burglar alarm systems at each campus. Running of low voltage cabling (CAT6) and terminations to devices. Mounting of junction boxes or conduit to the devices. Works with DoIT to ensure devices are connecting properly to the network. Performs routine testing of the burglar alarm system and the panic hardware in conjunction with FIU police. Performs essentials duties during any emergency, such as hurricanes, storms and/or other University emergencies closing, is expected to be available to report to work as needed during university emergencies closing with appropriate notification by department administrator. Performs other related duties as required or directed by the supervisor. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma and two (2) years of appropriate experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
