We are seeking a Fire Alarm Installation Technician for a position in Orlando, FL. The Fire Alarm Installation Technician will assist with the installation, wiring, and testing of fire alarm systems. Responsibilities include mounting devices, running and terminating low voltage cables, and installing fire alarm panels, strobes, horns, and smoke detectors. The technician will also perform basic system checks and follow safety protocols to ensure installations meet local codes and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation of fire alarm systems, including wiring, mounting, and device installation. Terminate and test fire alarm cables (e.g., Cat5, Cat6, RG6) for proper functionality and signal. Work with fire alarm panels, smoke detectors, horns, and strobe lights to ensure correct system integration. Follow safety and regulatory guidelines during the installation process to ensure system compliance. Perform basic system troubleshooting and testing to ensure the functionality and performance of the fire alarm system. Ensure quality control and maintain proper documentation of work completed, including installation records and system configurations.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of fire alarm systems and low voltage wiring. Familiarity with local codes and regulations related to fire alarm system installations.
