Fire Alarm Technician Position Available In Palm Beach, Florida

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Fire Alarm Installer to join our team. The primary role will be to install, program, and repair fire alarm systems in various types of buildings.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions to determine the best location for fire alarm equipment. Install, repair, and maintain fire alarm systems, ensuring they are in working order and compliant with safety standards. Conduct tests to evaluate the functionality of fire alarm systems and components. Perform regular maintenance on fire alarm systems, including cleaning and replacing parts as necessary. Identify and correct malfunctions or faults in fire alarm systems. Provide training and instruction to building owners or managers on the use and maintenance of fire alarm systems. Ensure all work is completed to code and inspect installations for conformance with legal and safety requirements. Prepare and maintain records related to installations, inspections, and maintenance activities. Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot system malfunctions. Collaborate with electricians or other construction professionals as needed during the installation process Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum of High School Diploma / Vocational Training. Nice to have FASA/BASA and OSHA Cert. Must have a mastery knowledge of troubleshooting commercial intrusion systems; fire is also needed for this position. Must have a working knowledge to full understanding of local / national codes. Must have a mastery knowledge of test equipment, such as multimeters, battery analyzers and decibel meters. Experience Level Intermediate Level
