Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician with required fire alarm experience to join and help lead our growing team. Pay:
$28+ hourly, depending on experience and productivity. The Fire Sprinkler/Alarm Division Foreman plays a critical role in delivering hands-on service for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems. Over time, this position will assume license-holder responsibilities for Borem Fire Protection in both sprinkler and fire alarm servicing. This role also oversees the full project life cycle—from quoting and scheduling to execution and invoicing. Requirements:
Must have Florida Fire Marshal’s office FPI Inspector credentials A current and valid Fire Sprinkler License is required (This is an upfront requirement; candidates must already hold this license at the time of hire). Fire Alarm License and experience are preferred, but strong candidates may be supported by Borem Fire in obtaining this license Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with fire sprinkler systems is required Valid driver’s license in good standing Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Read and interpret blueprints and system schematics Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work at heights, and operate lift equipment Detail-oriented with a commitment to timely, high-quality work Act as a lead technician and division foreman, overseeing the end-to-end job process: quoting, scheduling, ordering materials, performing work, and invoicing Supervise and train assigned helpers or junior technicians Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked work vehicle Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire protection systems Stay current with code updates, new technologies, and installation methodologies Maintain all required CEUs and licenses (sponsored by Borem Fire Protection) Respond to emergency service calls, including after-hours as needed Communicate clearly with customers about timelines, delays, and job progress
