Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems, ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of low voltage systems, computer networking, and field service operations. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Install, configure, and maintain alarm systems for residential and commercial properties. Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting of existing alarm systems to ensure optimal functionality. Design alarm system layouts based on client specifications and security needs. Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and provide tailored solutions. Utilize remote access software for system monitoring and troubleshooting. Perform cabling tasks in compliance with NEC standards to ensure safe and effective installations. Provide training to clients on the operation of their alarm systems and associated technologies. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.

Education and Experience:
High school degree required, Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred. 5 plus years’ experience in the Alarm Industry. Bilingual is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift to 15- 85 lbs. at times. Must be able to climb ladders and move into and through small crawl spaces. 1-4 Hours of travel time as needed. Company Truck provided
