Fire Alarm Technician 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars Norcross, GA 30071 Wiginton Fire Systems is currently seeking exceptional individuals for the role of Fire Alarm Technicians at our Atlanta (Norcross) Office.
Position Summary:
Program and commission newly installed fire alarm systems. Layout, assemble, and install low voltage equipment for fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Conduct thorough testing of all features and equipment to ensure optimal functioning. Perform inspections and diagnose any system issues. Read, comprehend, and follow product manuals, while also educating customers on system care and maintenance. Prepare and submit detailed customer status and completion reports. Provide guidance and supervision to helpers and/or installers.
Experience, Education, Skills Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Physical stamina and capability to perform labor-intensive work. Strong communication, training, and organizational skills, coupled with a sense of pride and integrity. Must enjoy working both independently and outdoors. Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean background and driving history. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing and inspecting fire alarm systems and panels. Preferred certifications include NICET Certifications in fire alarm systems, as well as
FASA / BASA.
