The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing and installing alarm systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, and low voltage systems. This role requires strong technical abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work independently in the field. As an Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ properties through the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of alarm systems. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair various alarm systems including fire alarms and CCTV systems. Conduct regular inspections and testing of alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot issues with alarm systems using remote access software and field service techniques. Collaborate with clients to design customized alarm system solutions that meet their specific needs. Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation of their alarm systems. Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and repairs performed. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in alarm technology. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in the security or telecommunications field. Familiarity with low voltage wiring and installation practices. Knowledge of computer networking principles as they relate to alarm systems. Experience with system design for security applications is a plus. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues effectively. Excellent communication skills for client interactions and teamwork. Ability to work independently in various environments while adhering to safety protocols.
