Fire Alarm Technician P2Go Electrical Contracting Canton, MS 39046 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ properties. This role requires a strong understanding of low voltage systems, electrical components, and relevant codes. Responsibilities Install alarm systems including fire alarms and vesda systems. Install EMT and PVC conduit. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Utilize hand tools and electrical equipment to perform installations and repairs. Troubleshoot system issues using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools. Stay updated on the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure all installations meet regulatory standards. Experience Proven experience in low voltage electrical work or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with construction inspection processes is a plus. Strong knowledge of system design principles related to security and fire alarm systems. Proficiency in using hand tools and electrical testing equipment. Ability to detect issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
