Alarm Technician Position Available In Oktibbeha, Mississippi

Alarm Technician Security Solutions & Communications, Inc. 3111 Old Highway 12, Starkville, MS 39759

Primary Responsibilities:

Install and service alarm systems, cctv, audio/video, cabling, and other low voltage applications. Follow instructions from the salesmen on layout and design. Communicate with customer on proper usage of systems installed. Complete paperwork assigned for installation. Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently. Maintain safe work practices. Maintain appropriate inventory level in vehicles. Complete continuing education programs and training on new technologies and products.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must display excellent verbal customer service skills. Must be able to work Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with overtime as assigned. Must possess a cell phone for workplace communication. Must have a valid driver’s license and able to pass a background check/drug test. Felony disqualifies from employment High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Alarm Industry experience Installing and terminating structured cabling. Networking experience

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs repeatedly Ability to climb up and down ladders repeatedly Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time Ability to work in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics. Ability to work in a wide range of temperatures (indoor/outdoor)

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$14.00 – $20.00 per hour
