Fire Sprinkler Service Technician Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Technician in our Concord NC, branch to work in and around the surrounding areas. Our Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians take the lead on assigned jobs, handling fire sprinkler system repairs, relocations, and tenant improvements This is a fast-paced role that requires frequent ladder climbing, overhead work, and the use of industry tools. Candidates must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and regularly perform physical tasks such as reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing, and walking. Day to
Day:
Lead their assigned job daily Perform fire sprinkler system repairs, add/relocates, and tenant improvements/changes He/she will direct the activities of their assigned Helper and train him/her on the proper way to service fire sprinkler systems This position may also perform installations of new fire sprinkler systems All work must be performed accurately and timely He/she develops a strong relationship with the customer to exceed all their expectations and ensure a quality, timely installation is achieved. Attend monthly safety meetings at the local branch. Working outside on job sites for long hours in all seasons including summer months. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and climbing. Lifting will include up to 60 pounds. What are the Qualifications for this position? Minimum 5 years of fire sprinkler service experience Knowledge and experience with system installation, repairs, add/relocates, troubleshooting, reading blueprints, putting systems on test, and more. We also require the ability to supervise each project and all Fitters/Helpers working on the jobsite. Must be able to wear proper protective equipment as required on all job sites. Travel within the local community is required Must possess ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and a good communicator. A company vehicle will be provided for this position requiring a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and pre-employment background check screening including 10 years of employment verification is required to be hired at Wayne Automatic.
