Alarm Technician San Lee Security 105 West Main Street, Sanford, NC 27332 Alarm Technician Job Brief We are looking for a detail-oriented problem-solver to join our team as a Alarm Technician. You will be installing and maintaining a range of alarm systems, video surveillance systems, and finding and repairing malfunctions. On the job training will be provided. To ensure success as an Security Alarm Technician, you should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of safety codes and regulations and experience with a variety of alarm systems. You must also be self-motivated and able to work confidently/independently on projects. Responsibilities The alarm technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of alarm systems and video surveillance systems. Making sure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations Completing all assignments Performing inspections and diagnosing any problems Completing full installations Traveling to customer locations Reading, understanding, and following product manuals Educating customers on care and maintenance Writing service and status reports Testing all features and equipment to ensure optimum functioning Requirements Track record of excellent customer service Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving skills Alarm system experience Valid driver’s license Clean background check and driving record Must be able to pass a drug test
