Low Voltage Technician Mt. Major Tech Chichester, NH 03258 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including security systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Video Surveillance, and computer networking. This role is essential in ensuring that all low voltage installations meet safety standards and function effectively to provide security and connectivity solutions for our clients. Duties Install and maintain low voltage systems including Video Surveillance, alarm systems, and other security solutions. Run cabling for various installations while adhering to schematics and safety protocols. Troubleshoot issues related to electrical systems and resolve them efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure proper installation of computer networking hardware. Utilize power tools safely and effectively during installation processes. Provide technical support for remote access software as needed. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Skills Proficiency in installing and configuring Video Surveillance systems. Strong understanding of cabling techniques and standards. Experience with various security system/Fire System components and their functionalities. Ability to read and interpret schematics for electrical installations. Knowledge of computer networking principles and hardware setup. Familiarity with remote access software for system monitoring and troubleshooting. Competency in using power tools safely in a work environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
