New Hampshire Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. We provide service to customers throughout NH, ME, MA, VT, CT and RI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including security systems and occasionally fire alarms. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read blueprints, ensuring that all installations meet safety and operational standards. Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including alarm systems and fire alarms.
- Conduct system inspections to detect issues and ensure proper functionality.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters to test electrical systems and troubleshoot problems.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand system layouts and installation requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to build effective security solutions for clients.
- Provide recommendations for alarm system sales based on client needs and system capabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during installations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during installations.
- Our warehouse is located in Hampton, NH, however, there will be daily travel to and from customers within the New England states. Qualifications
- Proven experience in low voltage electrical work including security systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot CCTV, access control and intrusion systems effectively.
- Familiarity with alarm systems, security systems, and fire alarm technologies is preferred.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation will be required for travel between job sites.
- Background check may be required.
