Knowledge of panel programing on Potter, Silent Knight, Honeywell Knowledge of cellular and internet alarm monitoring You must be able to Install and Service Commercial Fire Alarm Systems and Commercial Access Control Systems Run Cat-6, Coax and other Low Voltage Wiring including IP Cameras And Date networks. Program and terminate fire alarm system panels Coordinate Municipal Inspections and Approvals Be able to read and understand Blueprints. Summary We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team at Encore Electric, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our electrical projects. Responsibilities Install and maintain low voltage electrical systems including fire alarms, security systems, and telecommunications. Troubleshoot and repair low voltage systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with project managers to schedule work and meet project deadlines. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards on job sites. Provide training and supervision to junior technicians as needed. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Requirements Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices. Experience with project scheduling and construction management processes. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
