Security Alarm Technician General Security Inc. 1 Pine West Plz, Albany, NY 12205 Job Description Smart Home Security Service & Installation Technician General Security Inc. has a need for a skilled security technician with a minimum of 2 years’ experience installing electronic security. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill level. Candidate’s duties will include installing and servicing Intrusion/Burglary, CCTV and Low Voltage wiring. The Service/Installation Technician will service, maintain, and install these systems working both independently, and as part of a team. Candidate will work primarily on residential and light commercial accounts. General Security is consistently nationally ranked in the top 30 in a widely recognized Industry publication, Security Distributing & Marketing Magazine (SDM). The publication ranks the top 100 Security Dealers in the country on an annual basis.

Qualifications:

Exceptional customer service skills and professional appearance Current valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to troubleshoot Qolsys, DSC, Honeywell, 2Gig, Alarm.com preferred

Job Duties:

Install and service smart home technology in residential and commercial environments Ensure on-time arrival to customer appointments Provide exceptional customer service Maintain a professional appearance Conduct routine maintenance and inventory of company products and equipment Earn extra income by offering additional products and services
