Dival Safety Equipment – 3.4 Buffalo, NY Job Details Full-time $20 – $24 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Safety equipment provided Qualifications High school diploma or GED Organizational skills Communication skills Entry level Full Job Description Fire Service Technician (In-House) Regular Full Time Buffalo, NY Training Provided DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the Fire, EMS, and Industrial Safety Equipment distribution business, is looking for a self-motivated individual to service and repair fire extinguishers at our Buffalo, NY branch, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and professionalism.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Focusing on safety – safety training and direction must be adhered to at all times, reporting any existing or potential safety concerns to management. Coordinate daily service schedules with supervisors and management, working as part of a team. Responsible to perform required services on fire extinguishers according to established safety requirements. Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork in a timely manner as required. Effectively and efficiently communicate any issues/problems with management. Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed. Perform additional duties that may arise and assigned by management.
Skills and Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, representing DiVal Safety in a professional and positive manner at all times. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to lift 30 lbs. – 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis. High school degree or GED.
