Low Voltage Technician DSSI Safety Inc Leechburg, PA 15656 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including security systems, and fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and the ability to work independently in various environments. We install fire and security systems in large buildings and facilities. No crawling under homes or through attics. Responsibilities Install and configure low voltage systems, including security and fire alarm systems. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct field service visits to install or repair equipment as required. Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation and features. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during all installations and service calls. Requirements Proven experience in low voltage system installation and maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment related to low voltage systems. Ability to detect issues within systems quickly and efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. We travel from January through October with some time off with pay during the holiday season. We speak Spanish and English, anyone qualified for the job is welcome. A valid driver’s license may be required for travel to job sites. We pay for travel expenses. If you have your own vehicle we will pay for your fuel and use of your vehicle.
