Firestopper Position Available In Aiken, South Carolina

• Installing firestop systems to prevent the spread of fire and smoke within buildings
• Identifying and addressing potential fire hazards in structures
• Applying fire-resistant materials to seal openings and penetrations
• Ensuring adherence to fire safety regulations and industry standards
• Measuring and cutting fire-resistant materials to fit specific spaces
• Installing and maintaining firestop systems to meet safety requirements
• Participating in fire safety training and staying informed about industry advancementsRequirements
• Experience in firestopping or a related field
• Ability to work with various firestopping tools and materials
• Attention to detail for precise installation of fire-resistant barriers
• Adherence to safety procedures and protocols
• Must be able to perform daily duties and be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Foreman in completing jobs on time and under budget
• May be asked to work on other crews
• Report damaged/non-working toolsPay based on experience and capabilities.
