In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems, ensuring the safety and security of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage electrical systems and possess excellent problem-solving skills. You will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and maintain alarm systems, including fire alarms and security systems. Conduct regular inspections of alarm systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards. Read and interpret schematics to effectively install and repair alarm systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools for installation and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide system design recommendations. Perform construction inspections to ensure that installations meet regulatory requirements. Document all service calls, repairs, and installations accurately in the company’s reporting system. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in alarm technology. Skills Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in installation and repair work. Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems is essential. Experience with fire sprinkler fitting is a plus. Familiarity with construction inspection processes is advantageous. Ability to read and understand schematics related to alarm systems. Previous experience as a service technician in the security or electrical field is preferred. Competence in using voltmeters for testing electrical circuits. Strong analytical skills for effective system design and troubleshooting.
