Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated, customer service-oriented Fire Sprinkler Technician. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and a good communicator. This important position will establish rapport and build positive relationships with our customers. Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for water-based inspections, installations, and repair of Wet, Dry, Pre-action and Deluge systems (Foam systems a plus).
- Responsible for identifying trouble areas and performing service in an efficient and professional manner to ensure that sprinkler systems are operating properly.
- Sprinkler, fire pump and Backflow Systems Installation, Repair, & Service.
- Install/hang sprinkler systems and their components per NFPA and engineering guidelines.
- Install or replace wet, dry, pre-action and deluge systems as needed (Foam systems a plus).
- Repair and/or replace all sprinkler systems components.
- Perform disassembly, repair, and installation of sprinkler, fire pump and backflow system components.
Perform inspection of wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems.
Job Requirements:
- 1-3 years field experience in Fire Sprinkler, fire pump and Backflow systems service.
- NICET Certification, State Fire Sprinkler License and/or Backflow Certification a plus.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements. Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of proven success in performance of Sprinkler inspection, installation, and service is service is highly preferred.
