The Technicianmust be a role model to the organization with regards to integrity,commitment to results, inspiring teamwork and building on ourstrong culture of employee recognition while delivering legendaryservice to our customers, both internal and external.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Program, start-up,troubleshoot and commission new system installation. Performs basicpoint-to-point troubleshooting on Fire Alarms, Access ControlSystems, CCTV, Nurse Calls and Intercom systems and other systems,as required. Clearly communicate with project lead and client onproject status, challenges, and completion dates. Assist withinstallation projects, with direction for a successfulinstallation. Identify installation or system issues to projectlead. Review contract and design documents related to the projectfor accuracy prior to installation of system. Perform inspectionsto ensure alarms are installed and working according to code.
Complete detailed project reports. Respond to emergency servicecalls. Maintains strong written and effective oral communicationskills for both internal and external clients. Demonstratesattention to detail to ensure successful resolution to customerrequirements in a timely and cost-effective manner. Shift times mayvary based on assignments made by the SPM or GM. Can be required toworks a rotating on-call schedule. Required to have prompt, regularattendance in-person and be available to work on-site, in-personduring regular business hours and as needed. Performs other dutiesas assigned.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Position requires climbingladders, frequent walking, stooping, crawling, pushing, balancing,lifting of more than 75 lbs. and operating heavy equipment. Worksin confined areas, stockroom, closets, etc. above and below groundlevel. Ability to travel with a crew and ride a company providedvehicle. Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION High SchoolDiploma or equivalent College graduates with a related degree orequivalent college coursework, preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSEValid Driver’s License Tennessee Alarm System Contractor License(must pass state requirements to obtain, including drug screen,background check and fingerprinting) NICET Certification,preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 years industry relatedexperience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge of low voltagesystems, including but not limited to Fire Alarms, Access ControlSystems, CCTV, Nurse Calls, and Intercom systems. Possess bothtechnical and computer skills. Effective communication skills, bothwritten and oral. Ability to use lifts for work that exceeds ladderlimitations. Ability to regularly carry and climb an 8′ or tallerladder. Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage. Abilityto read and interpret technical drawings and parts manuals todetermine proper installation. Must be comfortable reporting to aProject Manager and providing necessary information. Ability tofollow verbal and written instruction. Interested in hearing more?
