The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems and cabling, with hands-on experience using power tools and understanding system design. This role involves installing and maintaining various systems, including fire alarms and security systems, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and schematics. The Installer will work closely with clients to deliver high-quality service and support. Responsibilities Install low voltage systems, including cabling for fire alarms and security systems. Utilize power tools effectively and safely during installation processes. Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installation of systems. Conduct system design assessments to meet client specifications. Troubleshoot issues related to computer hardware and remote access software. Perform regular maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all job sites. Experience Proven experience in low voltage installations, including cabling for various systems. Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation. Knowledge of system design principles related to fire alarm and security systems. Proficiency in detecting issues within installed systems and providing effective solutions. Experience working with computer hardware and remote access software is preferred. Ability to read and understand technical schematics is essential.
