???? About the Role Tek Systems is seeking a skilled Commercial Low Voltage Installation Technician to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee. In this role, you’ll install, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems in commercial environments—everything from security systems to AV and telecommunications. ????️ Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems in commercial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Install and program security, audio/video, and telecom systems Troubleshoot and resolve wiring and connectivity issues Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and tasks Deliver excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction ???? Requirements High school diploma or GED (associate degree or technical certificate preferred) 1+ years of relevant experience Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics Strong troubleshooting skills Able to work independently and on a team Excellent communication and client-facing skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation ????
