Fire Sprinkler Designer Job Description:
Seeking anexperienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. The idealcandidate will have a strong background in fire protection systemsdesign, with NICET certification preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and layout fire sprinkler systems for various buildings andstructures Create detailed drawings and specifications using CADsoftware Collaborate with project managers, engineers, andcontractors Perform hydraulic calculations to determine pipe sizesand sprinkler head requirements Review and interpret buildingplans, blueprints, and specifications Conduct site visits to assessexisting conditions Assist in obtaining necessary permits andapprovals Provide technical support during installation andcommissioning
Qualifications:
NICET certification in Water-BasedSystems Layout preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in firesprinkler design Proficiency in CAD software Strong knowledge ofNFPA codes and standards Excellent problem-solving skills andattention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of ateam Strong communication and interpersonal skills
