Auto Body Repair Technician Mote’s Body Works 700 E Magnolia Ave, Geneva, AL 36340 Overview We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition after accidents or damage. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in automotive repair, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. Duties Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs. Perform bodywork including dent removal, sanding, and painting. Utilize hand tools and equipment for repairs, including welding and soldering techniques. Replace or repair damaged sheet metal components. Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all repairs meet safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology. Skills Proficient in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Experience with heavy lifting as required for various repair tasks. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in auto body work. Previous experience working in a dealership setting is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
