Auto Body Painter Position Available In Brevard, Florida

Working with a manufacturing company in the Rockledge, FL area that is seeking qualified Auto Body Painter for 1st Shift!!! Job Description As a Painter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality finish of parts. Your primary responsibility will be to use a spray gun to apply paint, ensuring a smooth, even coat that meets our stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities Painting:

Use a spray gun to apply paint, following specific guidelines and techniques to achieve a uniform finish. Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired shade and consistency. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.

Quality Control:

Inspect painted surfaces for defects such as runs, sags, and unpainted areas. Measure paint thickness and ensure it meets the required specifications. Conduct final inspections to ensure the paint job meets all quality standards before the vehicle is released.

Maintenance:

Maintain and clean painting equipment, including spray guns and booths, to ensure optimal performance. Keep accurate records of paint usage and inventory.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a painter, preferably in an automotive or industrial setting. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality. Familiarity with spray painting equipment and techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to painting and hazardous materials.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination. Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required. Why Work Here? PM Pay:

Based on experience and shift and schedule. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $25.00/hr.
