Body Shop Estimator 2.0 2.0 out of 5 stars Lauderhill, FL 33319 Position Overview We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Body Shop & Collision Estimator to join our collision repair team. In this role, you will assess vehicle damage resulting from accidents, generate accurate repair estimates using industry-standard software, and serve as a key point of contact for customers throughout the repair process. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in collision repair, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Inspect and assess collision-damaged vehicles to determine repair requirements and parts replacement. Create precise and comprehensive repair estimates using estimating software such as CCC One. Coordinate with insurance adjusters, customers, and technicians to ensure estimate accuracy and approvals. Clearly explain repair plans, timelines, and costs to customers, maintaining transparency and trust. Work closely with body shop technicians to ensure all damage is documented and properly addressed. Recommend additional services when appropriate to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Maintain accurate records of estimates, supplements, invoices, and customer communications. Stay informed on OEM procedures, repair standards, and industry best practices. Skills & Qualifications Strong background in collision repair estimating with working knowledge of vehicle structures, frame alignment, and repair procedures. Proficiency with estimating systems (e.g., CCC One, Mitchell) and familiarity with DRP requirements. Prior experience in a body shop or dealership collision center preferred. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and explain value-added services. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple estimates and deadlines. Ability to collaborate with technicians, painters, insurance reps, and front office staff.
