Body Shop Estimator Charlotte Harbor Collision 4356 Tamiami Trail, Punta Gorda, FL 33980 Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with the ability to assess vehicle damage accurately and provide detailed estimates for repairs. This role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the high standards of our body shop. Responsibilities Evaluate damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed. Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, parts, and materials required for repairs. Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair processes and costs. Collaborate with technicians and service staff to ensure accurate assessments. Utilize automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues and recommend solutions. Maintain accurate records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions. Stay updated on industry trends, repair techniques, and new technologies in automotive repair. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Qualifications Proven experience in auto body repair or automotive diagnostics is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively transmit information to customers and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
