The ideal candidate will have a passion for finishing. restoration and repair, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for working on tooling (plugs and molds) individually and in teams for larger projects. Duties Perform auto body repairs with an emphasis on sanding and finishing Be able to use an HLVP spray gun and other types of painting equipment Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts to facilitate repairs. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify damage and necessary repairs. Utilize sheet metal techniques to repair or replace damaged body panels. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols. Provide exceptional service to customers by communicating repair processes and timelines. Experience Proven experience in auto body repair, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Familiarity with auto restoration techniques and practices is preferred. Proficient in welding and fabrication methods. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair is essential. Previous experience working in a dealership or automotive shop is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.
