Auto Buffer/Polisher Eme & My Friend Body Shop 4818 North Lauber Way, Tampa, FL 33614 Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Polisher to restore and enhance the appearance of vehicles by performing high-quality polishing, buffing, and finishing work. The ideal candidate should have experience using polishing tools and compounds to remove imperfections, swirl marks, and oxidation from vehicle surfaces, delivering a flawless, showroom-quality finish. Responsibilities Perform polishing and buffing on vehicle exteriors to remove surface scratches, swirl marks, and other imperfections Use orbital buffers, rotary polishers, and other detailing equipment safely and effectively Apply wax, sealants, and protective coatings as needed Inspect painted surfaces before and after polishing to ensure quality results Maintain cleanliness of work area and tools Work closely with painters, detailers, and body shop staff to coordinate workflow Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE Requirements Proven experience in buffing, auto body repair, or auto restoration is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance. Proficiency in using power tools and equipment related to polishing tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Good communication skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. A valid driver’s license is required for test-driving vehicles when necessary.
