With our uncompromising standards, our extreme emphasis on doing high quality work is reflected in our commission plan. Paint and body repair technicians earn 50% gross commission, unmatched in our industry, with the chance for advancement and management in the future. Duties Travel to various car dealerships and maintenance centers in Collier, Lee, Charlotte and Sarasota county Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs Create estimates, submit them to managers for approval, negotiate as needed Repair light to medium auto body damage Repair duties include grinding, sanding, filling, polishing, plastic and stud welding, part removal and replacement Prep and finish Conduct thorough inspections of repaired vehicles to ensure quality standards are met Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and customer expectations Qualifications Relevant experience as an body tech, painter, or in a similar role within the automotive industry Valid drivers license Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, auto restoration processes, and repair techniques Experience in maintaining relevant repair equipment Proficiency in using power tools and other automotive repair tools Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Certifications in relevant automotive technologies are a plus This position, being mobile, requires working
