The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in the automotive industry. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and excellent customer service skills as you work on various vehicles. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high standard of finish. Responsibilities Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces. Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results. Apply paint using spray guns and other tools while ensuring even coverage. Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed to maintain quality standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Assist with auto restoration tasks as required, including mechanical work or welding. Requirements Proven experience in auto painting or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance. Familiarity with hand tools used in painting and automotive work. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Ability to lift heavy objects as needed during the painting process. Knowledge of auto estimating practices is a plus. Experience in auto restoration or working with auto glass is desirable but not mandatory. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
