AUTO BODY REPAIR ESTIMATOR
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Auto Estimator to join our Orlando City Auto Body team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service and repair, with the ability to accurately assess vehicle damage and provide comprehensive estimates for repairs. This role requires excellent customer service skills and mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with clients and ensure their needs are met. Duties Evaluate damaged vehicles and determine the necessary repairs required to restore them to pre-accident condition. Must be proficient in using the CCC estimating system Must have knowledge of and experience working with auto insurance companies Prepare detailed estimates for parts and labor, utilizing industry-standard software. Collaborate with technicians and mechanics to gain insights on repair processes and timelines. Communicate effectively with customers(email, phone, text messages) regarding the repair process, costs, and timelines. Maintain accurate records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire services, and auto body repair. Proficiency in auto estimating software CCC One. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple estimates simultaneously. A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to provide top-notch service.
