The Body Technician is responsible for repairing damaged vehicle body parts and ensuring the work meets factory and dealership specifications and time standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Repairs:
Perform vehicle repairs according to estimates and manufacturer standards.
Parts Verification:
Verify parts against the estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received.
Preparation:
Prepare vehicles for body repair work, ensuring all necessary steps are taken for quality results.
Additional Repairs:
Inform management of any additional repairs needed beyond the initial estimate.
Problem Reporting:
Notify management of any issues that may affect the quality of work or alter the promised completion time.
Tool Maintenance:
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
Safety Practices:
