Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Body Shop Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition by repairing body damage, performing cosmetic enhancements, and ensuring all work meets high-quality and safety standards. Whether it’s repairing dents, replacing windshields, or executing complete rebuilds, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional results to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and identify vehicle body damage and determine appropriate repair methods. Perform bodywork including dent removal, panel alignment, frame straightening, and part replacement. Complete minor cosmetic repairs such as scratch removal, paint touch-ups, and corrosion treatment. Communicate repair status and any delays clearly with the Body Shop Manager. Coordinate with the Parts Department to order and track necessary parts. Accurately document all repairs and materials used for each job. Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Adhere to all safety procedures and follow federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including proper disposal of hazardous materials. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Completion of a vocational or technical program in auto body repair preferred but not required. Proven experience in auto body repair, collision work, or customization is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
