The ideal candidate will be responsible for prepping, painting, and finishing vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition or enhance their appearance. You’ll use a variety of tools, techniques, and color-matching systems to ensure high-quality results and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
• Mix and match paint colors using computerized systems or manual techniques.
• Apply paint coatings using spray guns and other equipment in a controlled booth.
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality and touch up as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and spray booth.
• Follow safety guidelines and proper handling of hazardous materials (e.g., paints, thinners).
• Collaborate with other technicians and estimators to ensure proper workflow and timelines.
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and manufacturer specifications.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in auto body painting preferred.
• Proven experience as an auto body painter or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with color-matching systems and paint application techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with OSHA and EPA safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:
