Homer, LA 71040 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and maintenance, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in various repair techniques, including soldering, assembling, and fabricating parts to restore vehicles to their original condition. Duties Perform auto body repairs on vehicles, including frame straightening, panel replacement, and dent removal. Utilize power tools and equipment for cutting, grinding, and welding as needed. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs. Execute auto painting tasks using airless paint spraying techniques to ensure a high-quality finish. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in auto body repair techniques. Requirements Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in the automotive industry. Proficiency in auto estimating, with the ability to accurately assess repair costs and timeframes. Strong mechanical skills with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair processes. Ability to detail work meticulously, ensuring high standards of quality in all repairs. Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in an auto body shop environment.
