The ideal candidate will have a solid background in auto body repair and automotive maintenance, showcasing expertise in restoring vehicles to their original condition. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and excellent customer service skills. The Auto Body Technician will collaborate closely with customers to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction throughout the repair process. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including collision damage, dents, and scratches. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks. Conduct auto painting to restore the vehicle’s exterior finish. Work with sheet metal to replace or repair damaged sections of vehicles. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs and timelines. Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks as needed to ensure optimal performance. Handle heavy lifting of parts and equipment safely during the repair process. Replace or repair auto glass as required for vehicle restoration. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in auto body repair, automotive repair, or related fields. Proficiency in auto painting techniques and equipment usage. Strong knowledge of sheet metal work and vehicle maintenance procedures. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in auto body repair. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
