Duties Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs. Execute auto body repairs, including welding, sheet metal work, and frame straightening. Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for tasks such as auto glass replacement and body assembly. Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and masking areas as needed. Apply paint using spray guns or other equipment, ensuring a smooth finish that matches the vehicle’s original color. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about repair processes and timelines. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technologies to enhance skills and service quality. Requirements Proven experience in auto body repair with a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment related to auto body work. Knowledge of welding techniques and sheet metal fabrication is essential. Familiarity with auto painting processes and materials is preferred.
