Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform repairs on various vehicle components. Work with sheet metal to repair or replace damaged panels. Conduct auto estimating to provide accurate repair costs. Fabricate parts as needed to ensure proper fit and function. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during repairs. Perform auto painting tasks, ensuring a smooth finish that matches the original color. Detail vehicles post-repair to enhance appearance and customer satisfaction. Assist in auto restoration projects, bringing classic vehicles back to life. Assemble vehicle components after repairs are completed. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair. Proficiency in working with sheet metal for body repairs. Familiarity with auto estimating processes for accurate cost assessments. Ability to fabricate parts as required for specific repairs. Experience using power tools and hand tools in an automotive setting. Skills in auto painting techniques for high-quality finishes. Attention to detail, ensuring all work meets high standards of quality. Knowledge of auto restoration processes is a plus. Capable of assembling various vehicle components efficiently.
