Exempt High Volume Collision Center seeking an experienced Flat Rate Body Shop Technician that thrives working in a fast-paced environment for our location in Brockton $20.00 an hour Collision 24 is a division of Ed Kardon’s 24 Auto Group . With dealerships in Brockton, Mansfield, Easton, Somerset, Dartmouth, East Providence, Plymouth and Westborough, we are well-positioned to meet the transportation needs of our current and future owners. Position Summary:

Repairs damaged auto body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards. Ensures that repairs are performed correctly and efficiently and that the Collision Center maintains a consistently high level of safety and customer satisfaction that is consistent with Route 24 Auto Group’s core philosophies, principles, and values. The Body Shop Technician will be held accountable to: Ensure that all company policies, procedures, programs, and strategies are followed and executed effectively. Implement effectively all the duties, responsibilities, and requirements outlined in this job description. Set a professional standard that always reflects favorably on Route 24 Auto Group. Reports any situation or condition that would jeopardize the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its customers, or employees to management.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards. Operates and uses all body shop equipment properly and safely. Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received. Prepares vehicles for body repair work. Notifies management of any additional repairs needed. Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time. Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair. Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management. Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles. Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc. Other tasks as assigned.
