Atlantic Plywood is seeking a Tint Technician (Tiers I-IV) to join our top-tier team of paint and stain color-matching professionals. As part of the most advanced and well-equipped paint tinting operation in the Northeast, you’ll work with state-of-the-art color-matching and dispensing technology to support the woodworking, millwork, and cabinet-making industries. This position offers a career path with increasing levels of responsibility and skill development (Tier I-IV), depending on experience and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform accurate custom color matches and repeat tints using computer-assisted color-matching systems.
Provide responsive, knowledgeable support to internal sales staff and external customers.
Maintain an inventory of paint, tools, and supplies, restocking as needed.
Assist with daily shipping and receiving of materials.
Greet and service walk-in/will-call customers throughout the day.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area that complies with safety standards.
Execute special assignments as needed based on operational needs and technician level.

Minimum Requirements:

Authorization to work in the United States.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift 50-100 lbs regularly.
Certified sit-down forklift operator (or ability to become certified).
Basic computer skills and comfort with technology.
Knowledge of PPE usage and commitment to safety protocols.
Strong attention to detail, with good organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience working with color in any of the following environments: Retail paint or hardware stores
Automotive paint and body shops
Cabinet shops or furniture finishing departments
Refinish/woodworking shops
Technical school programs focused on coatings or finishes
Previous forklift experience and/or certification.
Experience with inventory systems or warehouse management software.
Familiarity with modern warehouse practices and tools.
Self-motivated, reliable team player with strong communication skills.
Background in customer service or sales support roles.
