The ideal candidate will be responsible for disassembling vehicles and components in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Dismantler will play a crucial role in maintaining our inventory of parts while ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Dismantle vehicles and automotive components, ensuring all parts are removed carefully and efficiently. Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform disassembly tasks. Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all tools and parts are stored properly. Inspect parts for quality and usability, identifying any damage or wear. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain workflow. Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries regarding available parts. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Skills Proficiency in automotive repair, with experience in auto body repair preferred. Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus. Ability to use power tools effectively and safely. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members. Experience working in a dealership or automotive service environment is desirable. Capability to align components accurately during the dismantling process. Welding skills are beneficial but not mandatory. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
