Provides a reasonable department operating profit, and maintains customer satisfaction standards while controlling expenses. Directs the activities of body shop employees in performing body repairs, including meeting time schedules and productivity levels, and maintaining quality standards.
SCHEDULE 7
00am to 6:00pm Monday thru Friday Saturdays on rotation Additional days and time as business requires, including offsite and out of state training as directed by SET and
TCCC. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND DUTIES
Strong communication and negotiation skills. Be proficient in damage analysis. Ensure that all supplements are written and that the carriers are notified in an appropriate time frame. Checks quality of completed work. Prepares final billing for completed repair orders. Controls accounts receivables for body repair work. Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc. Provides necessary training. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred one year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
