We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Auto Body Technician to join our growing team in Bow, NH . This position is vital to the success of our company’s mission to provide expert-level body repairs and refinishing services. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, reshaping, and refinishing damaged or corroded automotive components. This includes working on rocker panels, quarter panels, doors, bumpers, and other parts affected by rust or collision damage. You’ll work with a variety of tools and techniques, including sanding, filling, priming, and painting. If you’re passionate about craftsmanship, restoration, and taking pride in bringing vehicles back to life — this is the opportunity for you. Responsibilities Ideally, candidates should have experience in auto body repair, including panel replacement, body filler application, surface preparation, sanding, and priming. Ability to repair or replace rust-damaged vehicle parts such as rocker panels, quarter panels, doors, bumpers, and frames is preferred. Use hand tools and power tools to restore vehicle panels and frames to factory specifications. Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer and sealants. Conduct structural repairs to ensure the vehicle’s safety and integrity. Collaborate with the welding team when structural rust repairs are required. Ensure proper fit and alignment of repaired or replaced parts. Inspect work to ensure the highest standard of finish and functionality. Keep work area clean and organized, and ensure all tools and equipment are used safely and correctly. Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow and timelines. While not required, experience in complete auto body repair and panel restoration is highly valued and preferred. Skills 2+ years of hands-on experience in auto body repair or collision repair. Solid knowledge of body filler application, sanding techniques, and surface prep. Familiarity with rust repair, body alignment, and panel replacement methods. Experience working with sheet metal shaping and adjustment. Ability to match paint colors, prepare surfaces for painting, and work with refinishing products. Understanding of automotive structural components and repair techniques. Attention to detail and a strong sense of pride in high-quality work. Ability to lift, bend, and maneuver parts and equipment as needed. Team player who can collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow repair orders, safety procedures, and manufacturer instructions.
